About this website

This website aims to provide teachers of Australian history a resource in relation to the individuals and organizations that supported indigenous rights.

The author has a particular interest in ensuring that recognition be given to the personal motivations of various individuals, including those with religious conviction.

The present website was triggered by the release of theĀ  draft writing brief for the Modern History Stage 6 Syllabus by the the Board of Studies Teaching & Educational Standards NSW (BOSTES) in October 2015.
